I believe in the power of people and ideas to change the world and like Stephen Hawking, I believe that if our species has any chance of long term survival we must take to the stars. Last year I had a vision of giving every student in the USA a kit to enable them to send a camera to the edge of near space. I began a project called OneToySpaceship.com where I've been trading my way for a ride into orbit as a press stunt to give away these space exploration kits. Starting with a toy plastic spaceship, I've made a series of trades for bigger and better space themed items and won't stop until I'm above the Karmen line. It's been an amazing ride so far, meetings with astronauts, trips to NASA, tweets from Rainn Wilson, and interviews from Forbes, CNET and more. I'm just a regular guy with a free blog and a dream to change the world.
