Fascinated by an episode of Wallace & Gromit on the moon (where these two cheese-cravers take a bite out of the moon, everyone knows it's made out of cheese!) and a visit to the Smithsonian Space Museum in Washington D.C. when I was 9, I knew that someday I just HAD to make a visit to space. My first spaceship simulation flight at the Smithsonian truly made a lasting impression — it was love at first sight and oh so thrilling. I enjoyed every single moment on that visit, even the gift shop (where they had dried space food!). Exploring space is certainly on my list of incredible tasks to do before I die. There are still things out there that have yet to be discovered, things that have yet to be seen... and that's what I love about it. Endless possibilities are in store and although there might be a slight initial fear of venturing into the unknown, it is the same curiosity that brings us farther. And anyway, I'd like to have dinner at the aliens' place before I return back to earth ;)
