I heard about this contest at work last night, while working a security shift. I literally jumped for joy when I heard about it. I got all giddy and excited!
I've been a fan of sci-fi, technology, a supporter of space travel and exploration, and a hardcore nerd in every meaning of the term all my life. I'm very passionate about the things I'm interested in, and space travel is definitely one of those things. Star Trek has always been my favorite fictional universe. The idea of unified species, exploration of galaxies just amazes me - fictional or not. With or without the contest, I -will- go to space in my lifetime. I have to. Because it's my lifelong dream. What are we without our dreams? and without fighting for them?
I would love to win, but, even if I dont, I wish the best of luck and experience for whoever does win.
Yes, I will go to space. This contest could bring that dream true. But without it, I will still get there.(although this would be a nice start ^_~)
