Ever since I can remember I have been interested in what lies beyond the sky. In grade school I always selected my career path to be an "astronomer". The skies have fascinated me to no end.. High school projects on the Pleides, die hard Xfiles fan, multiple telescopes for my birthdays, I even made my boyfriend buy the constellation app on his ipad this summer so I could map out the sky at night. If my interest in space isn't obvious yet, I've booked a 4 day trip to Iceland this April to try and see the Aurora Borealis *fingers crossed* after an attempt of trying to see them in Northern Ontario last fall (no luck).
All my life on earth I have been looking into the skies to see the stars, moon, and planets. But I know when I'm in space, all I will be doing is looking for the earth to see it among the black backdrop of sky.
Going into space is actually on my bucket list, but I don't think I will ever have a spare $100 grand to afford the trip. Please help make my space dream come true!!!
