TERMS & CONDITIONS
This contest is designed to select a Metro reader to win a trip into space on board an SXC rocket ship, the LYNX, currently being built by XCOR. This trip is organized by SXC SPACELINE NV, a Curaçao Corporation.

To enter the contest, the participants must have been elected as the local winner if such a local contest is carried out in the local Metro operation.

Terms and conditions applicable to each Metro local contest are announced locally.

Local winners are designated as global finalists.

The global finalists will be judged by the Global Jury. This is a professional jury consisting of Per Mikael Jensen (CEO Metro International) and Representatives from SXC.

The winning criteria will be selected based on the following critera (1) genuine interest and enthusiasm for going into space; (2) interesting personality; and (3) physical and psychological fitness at the sole discretion of the Global Jury.

The global finalists will be announced April 12th in the Metro Space Edition.

The global winner will be notified by e-mail on April 27th, 2012.

Metro reserves the right to disqualify the winner in the event that he/she doesn’t respond to e-mail notification within 48 hours, or he/she doesn’t sign a legal release and/or a confidentiality agreement.

Entrants must be 18 years or older by the time of signing the Founding Astrounaut Agreement.

To collect the prize, the Global winner will have to accept and sign with SXC the SXC Founding Astronaut Agreement . SXC is the sole responsible for the terms and conditions applicable to the space trip, being Metro and any of its local partners exempted by the Global winner of any kind of responsibility.

The competition is open to anyone other than employees, agents, contractors and consultants, or their families, of Metro International and its affiliates.

Winners may be requested to take part in promotional activity. Metro reserves the right to publish the names of the global/local winner(s) and their photos, as well as other relevant information.

Metro reserves the right to modify at any time the conditions of the present enclosed competition, including cancellation before the closing date, provided that there was a valid reason to do so, and promises to communicate with sufficient notice the new basis or conditions, or the definitive cancellation. Metro is not responsible for the possible technical, telephonic or computer failures that may occur during the course of the competition or any another attributable circumstance that could affect the development of and participation in the present promotion.

Metro’s responsibility is limited insofar as it is the media co-organiser of the competition. Metro will not be held responsible for problems in delivering the prize that are caused by our partners or by events outside of Metro’s control.
